velvet escape’s Culinary Journey: Fremantle

What: freshly shucked oysters with a cucumber and mint salsa, accompanied by a crisp Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc.

Where: The Mussel Bar, Fremantle, Western Australia. Fremantle is an ocean-side town with gorgeous heritage buildings, a 20-minute train ride from Perth.

Note: The oysters were incredibly fresh and, coupled with a light cucumber and mint salsa, were absolutely divine! I could only afford two :-) . The Mussel Bar is situated at Fremantle’s harbour front and offers a wide variety of high-quality seafood in a classy setting.
