What: Fresh crawfish
Where: Jake’s Famous Crawfish (Portland, Oregon, U.S.A.)
Note: I thought the crawfish served in this rather touristy but very popular restaurant were good, though not as good as the stuff you can get in New Orleans! A good friend of mine who lives there had a look at this photo and went “Pfifff, nothin’ beats ‘Naw-lins’ crawfish!”. I later found another place in Portland with great crawfish: My Brother’s Crawfish. I loved Portland! Fantastic scenery, great food, vibrant nightlife and free-pour G&T’s for a dollar! Awesome!
