World travel is an opportunity to truly unwind, enjoy the different rhythm and to explore new places and cultures. It is also about meeting the locals and fellow travellers, and sharing views, ideas and experiences. Preparing for a trip is the start of any travel adventure. For me, I enjoy researching my destination before my departure to find the good hotels and eateries, and to get some background on the attractions, customs and norms in that area. World travel can be full of surprises; some are pleasant and enriching whilst some can be downright nasty. In this sense, a certain degree of research is always handy. That little bit of background information can keep you safe and provide for an enjoyable travel experience.
It’s my enthusiasm for proper travel research that led me to discover the world of travel blogs. Nothing beats a well-written post about a first-hand experience or a brilliant travel tip that would save me money, time, grief or all three.

Hi Keith,
I was wondering why several of the blogs I visit has that LP Featured Blogger badge and you guys tag “Blogsherpa” on your post. This is why. Keep up the good work. As we all know, LP is still the leading guidebook publisher out there. They are smart to keep their content a lot more interesting than before!
Hi David,
It’s a brilliant idea and I’m always in for projects to help or connect with fellow travel bloggers.
The pleasure’s all mine.
Cheers,
Keith
Keith, that’s awesome and kind of you to do this for the Blogsherpa Group! A pleasure to be with you in this selected group and keep up the great work you’re doing!
