Greece is a country of outstanding natural beauty – and the Halkidiki peninsula is one of the jewels in its crown. Idyllic weather, sun kissed beaches, stunning scenery and enough activities to satisfy even the most demanding traveller, it’s an ideal location.

It’s here that you’ll find Sani Resort, a family-owned resort stretching across 1,000 acres, with endless golden beaches, the crystal clear seas of the Mediterranean and the pine forests of the Kassandra peninsula.

The resort has something to cater to every taste, from honeymooners through to families. That’s because your trip can be as energetic or as relaxed as you choose. For families there is a watersports centre (including sailing, diving and windsurfing), tennis, PADI scuba diving, the fitness studio and the Asterias Sunset Cuisine. For honeymooners or those who just want to recharge the batteries you can laze on the beach, explore the natural springs and olive and citrus groves.

The resort also features a range of traditional festivals throughout the year. For all you foodies out there, there is Sani Gourmet, a food festival which this year is focusing on “New Greek Cuisine”. The festival is a delight, allowing you to taste delicious food from the crème de la crème of today’s top Greek chefs, all of whom are distinguished for their experience and passion.

The Sani Resort is for anyone who enjoys a combination of nature and comfort. It’s a place to indulge yourself: enjoy a luxurious spa treatment or stroll through the orchard groves during the day and enjoy the delicious cuisine at night. If you have children, they can enjoy the range of activities that are on offer through the Melissa Crèche and Mini Club.

    hi,
if you look on Chalkidiki area map, it looks like it has 3 legs as we Greeks call them. I have visited the middle one which is a little less touristic than the first (the left one) and there are amazing beaches there! You need more than a week to discover them and have some dives in their crystal clear waters: A link to some of them http://travelphoto.gr/en/chalkidiki-beaches-sithonia/

By the way on the left “leg” (the right) you cannot swim since there is the holy mountain (Athos mountain). Even if you are not religious, you will be impressed by the architecture and tradition that is kept by the monasteries’ monks there!

Lesvos is situated north of Chios and south-east of Limnos. There are a lot to see and do here; spectacular mountain views, secluded and popular beaches, the petrified forest of Sigri and olive groves to walk through , producing the best olive oil in Greece. Lesvos is famous for its ouzo, sardines, Ladotyri (sheep’s milk cheese kept in olive oil). You could easily spend two weeks taking in the sights and still feel as though there’s so much more to see.
