One of the world’s epic train journeys is the Rocky Mountaineer which crosses the Canadian Rockies from Jasper or Banff/Calgary to Vancouver or vice-versa. During my two-day trip on the Rocky Mountaineer, I took many photos of the train tracks and the beautiful fall colours as we made our way across the Rocky Mountains. As a tribute to this stunning train route and the people who built it, I’ve compiled a photo essay of some of my favourite shots taken en-route from Jasper, Alberta to Vancouver, British Columbia. I hope you enjoy these photos! You’re also most welcome to read about my trip aboard the Rocky Mountaineer.
