It’s been one of my dreams to visit the Victoria Falls, one of the world’s greatest waterfalls, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. That dream finally came true – funnily enough, just a month after visiting another of the world’s greatest falls, Iguassu Falls in Brazil/Argentina. The Victoria Falls were spectacular, despite the dry winter season, and we were greeted by a gorgeous rainbow! The thunderous roar of the water dropping like a mile-long curtain several hundred feet into the gorge and the ceaseless clouds of spray that swirled up from below made for an unforgettable experience.

Even with a rainbow? Absolutely beautiful!
Wow.. I’m headed off to New Zealand via South East Asia Keith, and thought Africa and South America later on sometime.. this photo nearly made me change my mind!
Good work mate.
Gorgeous picture. I love the rainbow in the corner. Would love to go the these falls someday, although Iguassu Falls is at the top of my waterfall list of places to visit.
Hmmm, I vaguely heard of that story but I’m not sure if it happened here.
OMG, the falls is just amazing! This is the same falls where that backpacker fell from a bungee right? Or was it the Victoria bridge.
This is what I wanna see and capture, waterfalls in all its majestic grandeur.
