Strolling through the Dalí Theatre Museum in Figueres, I couldn’t help but stop and stare at this tree in the courtyard. Its naked and forlorn appearance tugged at my heartstrings. It could’ve been my (rather melancholic) mood that day but I stood in awe of the emotions this tree evoked.

is it an Oak? it really looks like a fairy tale tree… just like the ones I used to draw as a kid. And in the hole lives an owl, of course

Great picture. And it actually looks like nothing more than that: a picture. Hard to believe it’s a real tree. Good choice of colours!
