Ready to discover #MyMauritius

Mauritius, the island nation in the Indian Ocean east of Madagascar, is one place I’ve always dreamed of visiting. If you saw a photo of one of its beaches, like the one below, you’d understand why! *wink*

My dream is about to come true! On Monday, 23rd September 2013, I’ll leave for this stunning island, along with 12 other travel bloggers and a videographer for a week in paradise! My itinerary tells me that there’ll be lots of beach time and all sorts of marine-based activities like snorkelling its famous reefs, but there will also be plenty of time to explore its mountains, including the Tamarin Falls and some canyoning; immerse myself in its multicultural landscape and cuisine; and indulge in some of the island’s best hotels and spas, such as the St. Regis, One & Only Le Saint Géran and the Maradiva Villas. They all look spectacular! Oh, and my Plane Views series will benefit too as I’m booked to go on a helicopter tour of the island! *YAY!* I can’t wait to discover all the different facets of Mauritius! The best part is, I’ll be in the company of some of my best blogger mates such as Melvin (Traveldudes), Nellie (Wild Junket) and Yvonne (Just Travelous).

Follow us as we explore Mauritius, from its beaches to its mountains, spas to golf courses, deep-sea fishing to walking with lions… it’s going to be incredible!… via the hashtag #MyMauritius.

I’ll fly with Air Mauritius, the premier airline to Mauritius, from their hub in Paris and arrive at their spanking new terminal.

Woohooo! I CAN’T WAIT!! :-)
