NEW: Global Bloggers Network
If you’re a travel blogger, please check out the Global Bloggers Network. The Network was developed in collaboration with Janice of the Solo Traveler blog and offers our ‘wish list’ of services and resources — the support that we think will help us all improve and grow our travel blogs. We will have monthly webinars featuring experts on a variety of topics, case studies, one-on-one coaching and a FUN contest that’s designed to drive traffic and introduce more readers to participating blogs!
Webinars
The first webinar will take place on Saturday, January 30th. Trisha Miller, the Managing Director of The Travel Writers Exchange will present the topic ‘Monetizing Your Blog‘. The Travel Writers Exchange is dedicated to helping travel writers and bloggers make money online.
We are also proud to announce that Jeff Bullas, a social media expert based in Sydney, Australia, has agreed to speak about ‘Positioning & Marketing Your Blog‘ during the webinar on February 27th. Jeff Bullas helps companies use the Internet to market efficiently — not in an intrusive way through interruption marketing but by engaging people and companies in conversations that build trust and relationships.
You can get details about and sign up for the webinars (as a Continental or Global member) at the Global Bloggers Network.
The Blog Hop contest
We are in the process of attracting sponsors for our Blog Hop contest to provide some great prizes. Watch this space for more announcements.
