The last time I visited Toronto was more than sixteen years ago. Yup, in 1996! I was a student with a backpack and I stayed at a hostel. This Wednesday, I’ll be returning with a few blogger friends to experience the good life, albeit for a few days, in Canada’s largest city. As we explore the city, we hope to find the answers to one question:
“What’s Luxury in Toronto?”
Our trip kicks off with a limousine pick-up at the airport. We’ll be driven to our luxurious accommodation at the brand new Shangri-La Hotel Toronto. A cocktail reception awaits us, after which we’ll be treated to dinner atop the iconic CN Tower – I’m sure the night views of Toronto are phenomenal. In the following days, we’ll scout around the city’s leisure, arts, shopping and culinary scenes to uncover the best that Toronto offers to the discerning traveller. I have the great pleasure of being accompanied by my good friends Abigail King (@insidetravellab), Isabelle Kenis (@isabellestravel) and Sarah Lee (@livesharetravel), all experts in luxury travel.
Follow us on our trip from 14th – 17th November 2012 on Twitter via the hashtag #LuxuryToronto to learn about everything luxury in this great Canadian city. Should you have any tips on the finer things to do, see and eat in Toronto, don’t hesitate to join in the fun by tweeting about it – don’t forget to include the #LuxuryToronto hashtag – or leave a comment below or on my facebook page.
