  • Nice blog with beautiful destinations included in your bucket.

  • Hi Keith, great blogs, looking to go away for 3/4 day break over New Year in Europe. I have visited many of the traditional European cities. Any suggestions? Thanks

  • Me and a few friends did a trip across Austria this year and visited Innsbruck, wonderful advice. Its such a lovely place to visit

  • I love your choice for the bucket list. Amazing job! You should definitely add Skopje and Ohrid there, towns located in the Republic of Macedonia, though. Macedonia is a small country in the Balkans still undiscovered by many Europeans, that should be added on all of our bucket lists 😀

  • Love these places Keith. Italy is a beautiful country and hope that I can go there in the near future. Thanks for your sharing and keep up your excellent work 🙂

  • Great list Keith!

Innsbruck and Graz have been on my list for a long time now. Hope I’ ll travel there soon.

I’ve noticed that you’ve visited both Poland and Russia but somehow skipped Ukraine.
I’m from Lviv, Ukraine and I highly recommend that you visit it for a few days. It’s a UNESCO Heritage Site so impressive architecture is guaranteed.

I’ve recently made a short guide to the city (I’ve linked to it) so check it out if you’re interested.
    Cheers,
    Galyna

  • Great to see Ljubljana on this list. We first went there in 2012 and were pleasantly surprised. A charming European city with delicious food and wine options. Found ourselves enjoying a coffee and watching the ebb and flow of Ljubljana life. And of course the view from the castle is not to be missed.

  • Hi Kundan,

I’m sorry but I don’t have any travel tips for Fiji. I’m sure you’ll be able to find many via Google. Have a great trip!

    Cheers,
    Keith

  • I have got my passport ready this year only and was going through your blog for doing some international trip. what about FIJI, can you suggest something on it, i am planning by end of this year between Sep to Dec.

  • What beautiful photos! All of these destinations are very tempting but sadly not all will fit in my travel plans for 2018. I am planning on returning to Innsbruck and Ljubljana this year, which I’m looking forward to. And I’m definitely going to make sure I visit Holland during the tulip season in the not too distant future 🙂

  • Hi Veronica,
Gosh, I’ve only been to Norway once and that was maybe twenty years ago! Time for a re-visit I’d say! Sorry, I can’t be of much help.

    Cheers,
    Keith

  • Hi Edward,
Thanks for your lovely comment! Greatly appreciate it – always a great feeling when you have a happy reader! 🙂
I’m definitely going to let you know if I visit Poland again – Krakow is very high on my list!

    Cheers,
    Keith

  • Keith, I always love your posts – you bring such a fresh perspective (I may be bias as that’s how I love to travel too – whether with our tour guests or solo – and you deliver every time).

Thank you for the beautiful photos and even a couple of places I’d never heard of before. I have to say Vreeland sounds like the perfect getaway destination. May have to take a research trip there soon haha!

If you’re in Poland again this year, give me a yell. I’d love to show you a speakeasy in Krakow
(you have to go through the back door entry behind a cloakroom) or a converted grain mill that’s now a hip cafe/design precinct 🙂

    – Edward

P.S. I had no idea you lived in Amsterdam! One of my friends lives there and loves it (he laughed about the sauna clothing policy at first but now loves it!)
