I'm Keith Jenkins

Based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, I'm the Founder and Publisher of Velvet Escape. For a decade I had a successful career in corporate and investment banking. In 2008, I left the corporate world behind and embarked on a new journey to pursue my passions for travel, writing and photography. This led to the founding of the Velvet Escape blog in December 2008.
